Have you experienced him today?.. |
Most of us have all seen the self check outs they now have in grocery stores and pretty much everywhere you go. Well I work inside of a grocery store and I stand right in front of the self check out lines. So I have the oppurtunity to sit there and watch people while im working and observe them. I have found this to be very interesting. I see all kinds of different people. I see families, old people, couples young and old, brothers and sisters, little ones, friends, and single people. I see people come up to these machines and just stand there. Some know exactly what to do and how to work the machine, the fly through it and get out of there. Then there are the people that have no idea what a self check out line is at all and are foreign to it. Usually its the old people but then every once and a while you get those adults that are unpatient, not knowing, and confused adults. They sit there and try to rush through the process and then it doesnt work. I have learned just by watching these machines that they have a particaler process that you have to follow. You scan the object let it recongize it and then place it on the belt llet it get to a certain point and then scan another item. People will rush this and when they scan the first item they think thaty can go so fast like a regualr cashier and sit there and try to scan it over and over again and it doesnt work. This seriously makes me laugh every time i see it happen. These people sit there and get frsutrated to the point where they are yelling at the workers to fix it when it was their fault all along. Its so interesting it kills me. When I sit here and think of this situation over and over again I think about my life. I think about how I rush things all the time when I just need to really sit back and enjoy what God has given me and take the process he has for my life. I rush these things in my life and I try them over and over again and they dont work because I get the same response and I get frustrated, I do the same thing. I blame and yell at the people that have nothing to do with anything at all expecting them to fix what I was trying to do. It doesnt work like that. You need to relax and rely on God to bring you through everything at the time it needs to be done. I had a youth all day sunday keep saying theres a time for everything nd she kept repeating the verse there is a time for this and a time for that and I never really listened to it until today.
God wants us to enjoy our lives..live it to the fullest and get the most out of life. You can’t do that by rushing through..you might miss or over look some of the most amaznig things in your life…so right now slow down..dont rush and enjoy the birds chirping or the stars sparking and remember you have a God who knows your every step. Let him lead them and take your time in life!
a time to be born and a time to die, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to love and a time to hate, A Time for Everything
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time for war and a time for peace.
